With the great start we have had to the season (besides the opening day defeat to Aston Villa), Arsenal are flying. If we can continue this form up then I believe our trophy drought will come to an end this season.
Many fans were calling for Arsene Wenger to be sacked in the summer as they had run out of patience and particularly with the limited transfer activity. Wenger pulled a rabbit out of the hat on transfer deadline day to bring Ozil to the club and the quietened down some unhappy fans.
As we currently sit at the top of the table, Wenger has dropped a big hint that he may be set to sign a new contract with Arsenal and finish his managerial career with the club.
Wenger told AP, “I can see the rest of my life in England, why not?.
“I feel comfortable in this country because we share a common passion for football and as well I am very thankful for this country for having accepted me and giving me a chance. I am happy on the football pitch.”
It is thought that Wenger will sign a new three year deal with Arsenal and I am sure that announcement will be made very soon.
