Arsenal’s new signing Gervinho how come out blazing already and he has not even stepped on the field yet for the Gunners. The Ivory Coast striker seems to believe that even if good players leave Arsenal this summer we will do well. I am sure he was referencing to Fabregas and Nasri as they are the two most documented players who could leave the club this summer.

“It is football, everything moves quickly,” Gervinho told Radio Monte Carlo Sport. ”If the club does not manage to keep these players, they will be able to replace them.”

Gervinho added: ”Arsenal will always remain a large club. No-one knows what will happen in the future, maybe in a year or two Arsenal will win titles.”

I certainly hope Gervinho is right about what he is talking about. At the end of the day, no player is bigger than Arsenal. Arsenal was there before Fabregas and Nasri joined the club and it will be there even if they leave.

Gervinho is right no player is bigger than the club we had the likes of Tony Adams,Denis bergkamp, who in the world is Nasri he is only a half season wonder and as for fabregas the guys is gud but if he wants to leave A.W should sell him to the highest binder.

  2. Sesan jegede says:

I will never be part of those who believe that the departure of cesc & nasri would be disastrous to Arsenal.Believe me sincerely, arsenal would remain big club in absence of these duo.

  3. Abalo says:

Gevinho is right, their depature can give the club glory.

Gervinho is already doing good things for Arsenal

  10. Canadiangooner says:

This is what we need! Players with testicles. Even with the absence of Nasri and Fabregas, we are still neck and shoulders above the rest of the league in “play making”. Only diffrence is that , before we had one major outlet to assist us in most of our goals, now we will have everyone chipping in. RVP,Arshavin,Wilshere,Ramsey and Rosicky can all play that role.

  11. jimmy02 says:

gervinho is right. Arsenal is bigger than any player, wit fab and nasri they might be the ones hindering our success. The truth about it is that AW shuld not hesitate 2 offload them, if that is their wishes. LET THEM GO.

  12. Alex says:

Harzard is a good replacement for either of them, he might want to join Gervinho in arsenal.

  13. Job says:

This is the kind of spirit we are looking, this is encouraging other team mates.they should not depend on otherz but rather play wit a good spirit and also at their own pace because arsenal is a team that is morethan cesc and nasri.

  14. tere says:

yeah / .. no body is above the club.

  15. oluwaseyi ayodele says:

Gervinho u’re right it was when Torres left liverpool things started working out fine for them and I believe strongly that d departure of fabregas and nasri will never cause any damage to arsenal

  16. Kamara says:

Atleast am relieved.i ve waited 4 such masage to be inspired . Thatr the spirit of a true guner .arise gunas.

  17. Olusola seun ibadan says:

Yes oo! soldier go soldier come barrack does nt move.Arsenal made them nt nt vice versa.

  18. sanusi ibrahim says:

yes it is through the deperture of both players will not affect the glory of the team. Arsenal is not one man club many big names has left the team the likes of henry, dennies, pires, viera, hleb&lehman and everything goes on well. any player that is not 100percent commited let them and find another replacement for them.

  19. dis is a true msg from a greate guy (gervinho) if dey want to leave let dem go 4arsenal 2 release henry 2 bacar so who is fabrigas (fabrinonces) bt nasri may stay.

  20. sam says:

u are 2much gerv 4 the truth u have just said let fab go is not focus again

  21. Arsenal1Again says:

Try telling Barcelona that Messi isn’t bigger than the club? If he demanded a doubling of wages he’d get it. Barcelona is in debt. Messi however provides a profit. The shirt sales alone earn millions. At the moment there is no such player at Arsenal.

  22. toskany says:

yeah dats d spirit, its a courageous message 4 we gooners fan, with or without fab nd Nasri arsenal will sti ll b what we are…. GUNNERS TILL I DIE!!!

  23. Ahmed says:

A great club like arsenal will survive without anyone. Remember arsene is not an idiot. He will easily change the style of the team if we cant cope without fab and nasri. I believe arsene leaving will be the disastorous for arsenal.

  24. william says:

claro que si nadie es mas grande que el club solo dependiamos de henry en su tiempo pero ahora de nadie seguro que de nadie ni siquiera de cesc ni de nasri

  25. gilbert says:

i love gerv. Dats a good one.

  26. Soji says:

    Yes,true talk Gervinho,we made them(fab n nasri)not vice versal.Arsenal will surely cope without dem.My blood is RED!!!

  27. tugboat says:

ramsey+song+wilshere my gawd what else do you need? and to get stuck in and fight headers there is frimpong btw. he is a monster.

  28. uduak says:

Let these guys go and bring in / promote gunners at heart. How many important matches did Cesc play for us last season? Gerv, welcome. Your coming to play your game and not because of the assemblage.

  29. olat says:

Although i have bn sayingf since the rumour has bn giving hell of a prob to the other teammates.cesc is not a gud captain, and Nasri is just a season wonder, not even a season but half a season so who the world he think he is?RVP has bn there b4 them and he still behave.pls let them goooooo pls tired of this speculations.

Survive being the word to note

Survive – continuing to live or exist in spite of danger or hardship

How exactly is this good enough ?

You do realise that the probability wenger will actually bring in anyone near the level of cesc is virtually zero and replacing samir with quality is remote

Rumours about ribbery … what nonsense is this – we have bought 3 teenagers and one guy from france who had a decent season …. over the years wenger has lied to protect the board and his players, and now he is finally beginning to stand alone and face the pressure of mounting expectations – i hope he can cope, because this coming season is going to be a killer on his nerves and water bottles.

  31. S'dayo Myke says:

gerv/rvp…wat else do we nid? To hell with a guy of one assist in a season and farewell 2 a captain of no silverware…we all welcome d true gunner gervy

  32. DEO says:

Good talk Gervinho. The Gunner’s spirit is at work already. Ensure that Nasri remains on the bench even as he is ade to see out his contract

  33. obugo says:

surelly arsenal will definetly survive without them.but i prefare nasri 2 stay

  34. Dayo says:

    A geat guy,good talk

  35. senator says:

yes! we can cope without them, wenger should sell them!

  36. Mercyjay says:

They should take a long walk of no return, but preferable nas should stay.all of you forget arsenal.vs barca second leg that cesc caused dat goal with a stupid backheel. What more do we want?

  37. Akintunde says:

Gevinho is right departure of this playes wil nt stop arsenal 4rm winning.Arsenal wil always be, no matter d condition.and they wil always make that top 4.

  38. Akintunde says:

Gervinho is right departure of this playes wil nt stop arsenal 4rm winning.Arsenal wil always be, no matter d condition.and they wil always make that top 4.
