Teams are already spending big this summer. Liverpool are set to splash out £20million to sign Jordan Henderson from Sunderland. Although Henderson is a decent player is he really worth £20million? I do not think so!
Teams are paying too much for English players and Liverpool are at fault. They parted with £35million for Carroll in January and now Henderson. Manchester United are also spending £16million on Phil Jones.
This got me thinking, if Arsenal were to sell Wilshere now, how much would they get for him? Wilshere is undoubtedly the best young English player in the game today.
