It was not the prettiest of wins for Arsenal but it was three points gained against Aston Villa on Monday night. If Arsenal can continue to grind out such 2-1 results away from home when we are not playing our best, then we stand a very good chance of winning the Premier League.
After the match, some Arsenal players took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the victory. There was also a lot of congratulations going to to seeing Alex Ox-Chamberlain back on the field again following his knee injury:
Just arrived home after a very satisfying away win! Had to dig deep! Thanks to all the fans that managed to make the trip! Welcome back Ox!

Nice to get back on the pitch tonight, especially with a good 3 points. Had to dig deep second half, but we managed to see the game out #AFC

Well done lads, had to hold on at the end but did well to see it out. Great to see Chambo make his comeback too. Night everyone!
