Arsenal currently top the Premier League after 11 games which is a great achievement. But if you look at a table based on the last 38 Premier League games, Arsenal would also be top!
Although we would have the same number of points as Manchester United, we would have a better goal difference.
This just goes to show how well we have been playing, virtually for this whole year. The key now is to maintain this form for the remaining 27 games and make sure we end the season as Champions.
Currently we have a very good squad and playing a good brand of football. If there is one area we need to resolve it is our strikeforce. Olivier Giroud has been playing very well as the lone striker but he needs support. If the Frenchman were to go down with an injury now, we would have to call upon Nicklas Bendtner and in all fairness he is not a top striker capable and helping us push for the title.
I am sure Arsene Wenger is aware of this and with the January transfer window coming up, I would be very surprised if Arsenal do not sign another striker.
