Arsenal have signed Yossi Benayoun on a season long loan from Chelsea. The Israeli captain arrives at Emirates Stadium with a wealth of Premier League experience, having spent successful spells at West Ham United and Liverpool before his move to Stamford Bridge.

With Arsenal having sold Samir Nasri to Manchester City, Benayoun is seen as the replacement for Nasri but will he be able to get the job done for us? I think so, he may be 31-years-old but he is still a quality player. His experience may just be what we need in the side.

Benayoun is a very intelligent player who knows when to make a pass and when to make a run. Arsenal’s style of play will suite Yossi very well and you can expect him to create a lot of goal scoring opportunities.

I know some Arsenal fans are already saying Benayoun will not be a good signing for us but let us give him a chance and see what he is capable of doing. Do you think Benayoun is a good signing?

I’m happy 4 the signing of Benayoun but not very happy becouse is not a permenet deal. Arsenal should fine a way 2 sign a permenet deal with the midfilder, he is a good replacement 4 Nasri

he will be a better option than bloody arshavin and rosicky!!!

good luck to him – its nice to sign a DECENT 31 year old – who has a point to prove and is a player that normally shines in big games

we were offered to sing benayoun for 2M but decided to loan him instead. Think he is a stop gap for some french marquee signings coming either in the January windo or next summer window as neither their clubs or the players were ready to move this year.
Much to look forward to for arsenal fans.

  12. Lanesra says:

Benayoun is a true professional and can offer skill and experience and commitment. I’m glad to have him and he’ll be a positive role model for our young midfield. And, as many say, it means we can leave the horrendous Arshavin in the gym.
