One of the longest transfer saga’s in the history of football is finally set to come to an end as Cecsc Fabregas is set to join Barcelona. It is being reported that Arsenal have accepted a bid worth £35.9million – plus add-ons – should Fabregas win major tournaments. It is also being hinted that Fabregas himself is willing to pay Arsenal £4.5million from his own pocket for this deal to go ahead.
It is no secret that Fabregas has his heart set on returning to Barcelona thus he is willing to do anything to make this move come through. Both parties would want this deal to be done as soon as possible so we could easily see this deal completed by the weekend. Arsenal will want the cash to go into the transfer market and find a replacement for Fabregas whilst Barcelona would want their new signing to start to train with his new team mates as soon as possible.
