Nicklas Bendtner may finally be bringing an end to his Arsenal career. I will say that I will not be too disappointed to see him leave! I never could quite understand want Wenger saw in the Danish striker as he was totally useless in my opinion.

It is being reported today that Bendtner is in Portugal, finalising a move to Sporting Lisbon according to the Daily Star. This is great news and it is being reported that Arsenal could get up to £9million which is a good deal as I would have been happy letting him go for much less.

Bendtner’s days at Arsenal were virtually deemed to be over when Arsene Wenger opted to leave Bendtner out of all the club’s pre-season trips, instead ordering him to remain in Londo where he could sort out his future.

Will you miss Bendtner at all?

he’s got loads of confidence, i’ll give him that but he could never really do a job for arsenal. i will always remember that first-touch header goal vs. spurs a few years back though…

his goal to minutes ratio is pretty good actually but i will be happy to see him go :p

Bendtner would have been a great striker if he wasn’t a bit sluggish and had some dribbling skills. Well, for the limited time he had chance to play he paid his dues with some vital goals. We’ll wish him well

i hope that nicky is appreciated where he goes, as he wasnt at arsenal, i think nicky is a great player, hes still young, he will get greater, he just wants to play football, he saved arsenals pride on a few occations, we should not forget this. i will miss him lots, i wish him well, hope he scores lots of goals against apponents, except against arsenal of course.
