The Mirror is reporting that Arsenal are set to offer Jack Wilshere a new contract. Wilshere only recently got a new contract last November which took his earnings up to £40,000 a week until 2016 but now it is understood that he is set to be offered an additional £10,000 a week.

Whilst the likes of Nasri are looking at getting £100,000 a week, we have talented players who want to play for the club whom are not demanding these ridiculously high salaries.

This is a good positive move by Arsenal as we need to keep Wilshere happy so he stays at the club for a very long time and we can build the team around him.

It’s good that we are offering him a new contract but i feel we shouldn’t build the team around one player.

Do you think 40k is enough chelsea man city and utd will get in his ear saying we will give you 70k, i think we should offer 60k to stop any problems
