Yet more transfer speculation is coming our way and this time it is to do with Southampton’s 17 year old sensation, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. Chamberlain has been continually linked with a move to Arsenal and now his father has come out and said that he thinks his son should join Arsenal ahead of the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Everton.

His father said: “To develop at a place like Arsenal can’t be a bad thing.

“In my eyes, I’d like him to go there as soon as possible, and continue his development.”

Now for £10million I think this is a lot of money to spend on a player dubbed the next Walcott. Why should we sign another Walcott type player when we already have Walcott? I would rather we spend the money elsewhere on an experienced player. We have tried and tested using these young players and it is not working!
