It never seems to end does it! Jack Wilshere was not selected for the England Under 21 squad as he felt that he needed a rest. Which is all fair and fine as Arsene Wenger was also not happy with the fact that Wilshere may be asked to play more games for his country this summer. But now England Under 21 biss Stuart Pearce has hit out at Arsenal and told us that we should have rested Wilshere towards the end of the season as he was suffering from fatigue.
Pearce said, “Arsenal haven’t left him out in the last six weeks of the season, even though stats said he’s in the red zone.”
But Pearce added, “Arsene didn’t want him to go full stop.”
Just put a sock in it Psycho. Why would we rest our star player when we are coming towards the business end of the season and in the hunt to win the Premiership?
