Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri has played down the chances of his side overcoming Arsenal in tomorrow’s Premier League clash, stating the Foxes require a ‘perfect match’ to defeat the Gunners.

Ranieri’s Leicester are the only unbeaten side remaining in England’s top-flight and have shown their high-calibre in the past two matches, where they have come from two-goals behind to secure points against Aston Villa and Stoke City.

However, despite the impressive showings, Ranieri says Leicester cannot afford to encounter the same problems against Arsenal- who he dubs as Premier League title contenders. In his pre-match press conference, he said:

“We have come from behind on the last couple of occasions and we cannot keep doing that. We must concentrate a little more. It is not easy scoring goals when you are behind in a game.”

“To beat Arsenal we must do the perfect match, no mistakes. Arsenal are great to watch, they are smart, fast and technical. They are ready to fight for the title again in my opinion. Maybe not the Champions League just yet, but in the league they are growing stronger.”

“I think they have a chance. On Saturday we are going to have a very big match on our hands, because it is difficult to find a weakness in the present Arsenal team.”

Arsenal will be looking to return to winning ways in the Premier League after a defeat against Chelsea last weekend but will be high on confidence off the back of a 2-1 Capital One Cup victory over arch-rivals Tottenham Hotspur in midweek.
