Turkish outfit Galatasaray are looking to bring another Arsenal forward to the club, following in the footsteps of Lukas Podolski last summer.
TalkSport claim that Joel Campbell is interesting the Turkish giants, who are concerned that Podolski could leave in January to return to German football.
23-year-old Campbell has previously struggled to impress in North London but injury problems in recent weeks gave him a chance to shine, with the Costa Rican international playing four consecutive matches for the Gunners and netting his first Arsenal goal in the 3-0 victory over Swansea City.
However, Campbell will likely return to the sidelines with Aaron Ramsey, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Theo Walcott return to full fitness; whilst question-marks still remain as to whether Campbell has the credentials to succeed at Arsenal.
Nevertheless, Arsene Wenger is unlikely to approve a transfer for Campbell in January as recent injuries have identified the potential frailties within his squad that’s fighting hard for the Premier League title.
