Arsenal have progressed to the FA Cup final at Wembley by knocking out Championship side Reading from the tournament. The game ended 2-1 with both goals from Alexis Sanchez. The game did, however, go to Extra-Time after Garath McCleary equalised in normal time. Now the Gunners, who won the tournament last year, will attempt to retain their trophy and be crowned champions for the second year in a row.

Yesterday, Aston Villa played Liverpool in the semi-final and won 2-1. Goals from Christian Benteke and Fabian Delph were enough to knock out Liverpool from the tournament. Liverpool did score first through Philippe Coutinho but were unable to capitalise on the early goal.

Aston Villa will play Arsenal in a match that many will expect the former champions to win. Aston Villa and Arsenal are on fine form and will have confidence going into the final. The battle between Arsene Wenger and Tim Sherwood will be heated as both coaches intend on finishing the season strong and with some much needed silverware.
