Arsenal are reportedly weighing up a £60m double swoop for Porto stars Fernando Quintero and Jackson Martinez.

Manager Arsene Wenger is said to have wanted the pair during the summer after impressing for Colombia in the World Cup, but the move failed to materialise.

However, according to the Daily Star, the Frenchman is back in for the South American duo – and this time he is bringing his wallet!

Winger Quintero has a £30m buyout clause in his Porto contract, while striker Martinez – who has 72 goals in 107 appearances for the Portuguese giants – is expected to fetch a similar amount.

Quintero, 21, was the subject of bogus reports that he flew to London in July to finalise a move to the Emirates, while 28-year-old Martinez is one story that never seems to go away.

The Gooner will believe this story when it happens.
