It is shocking that there were some fans in the last couple of weeks who were already starting the question Ozil’s ability as he had gone off the boil a bit. But against Hull he showed us all just how good and valuable he is with a man of the match performance.
Arsenal’s record signing had too much movement, vision and talent for Hull, and he rounded off his evening with the crucial second goal of the night that secured the 2-0 for the Gunners.
As for the stats, Ozil played more key passes than the entire Hull team (4 versus 3).
