The Cesc Fabregas transfer drama took a new twist this past weekend as Arsenal chairman, Peter Hill-Wood revealed that Barcelona have made a new approach for our captain. It is largely expected that Fabregas will leave Arsenal this summer and move back to Spain.
Hill-Wood said: “Yes, they have spoken to us about Cesc. They have been in touch but so far they have not made a bid and we do not want to let him go.
“But he comes from Barcelona so it is understandable if he wanted to go back. However, they have not made an offer so far.”
So why are Barcelona keeping in touch with us if they do not want to make an offer? Arsenal should be firm on this one and demand Barcelona to make an offer or leave our player alone!
