First it was Patrice Evra saying that Nasri should join Manchester United and now Rio Ferdinand is also speaking about Nasri. These Manchester United players really want Nasri don’t they. Well as Wenger has said, he will never sell Nasri to United but we all know that anything can happen in football today especially since Nasri himself has not ruled out the possibility of joining United.
Rio Ferdinand thinks Sami Nasri would be capable of emulating Eric Cantona at Old Trafford.
“Samir Nasri is an excellent player who has a good technique and a huge amount of talent,” said Ferdinand. “And he scores goals.
“For me, he is one of the best players right now. I think he even won the title of best French football player at international level.
“The French have a history of good players here. Thierry Henryhas been fantastic. Just like Cantona. And let’s not forget Marcel Desailly.”
