Finally, Jack Wilshere can get some rest now after playing his last game of the season for England. Can you imagine what state he would have been in if he was called up to play for the England Under 21’s in the European Tournament in Denmark this summer?
Wilshere who is only 19 years old managed to play 60 matches in 10 months! But for the next 4 weeks he will be able to get a break and be ready for next season.
“I have to get my feet up,” said Wilshere, “I’ve got four weeks off.
“It has been a crazy year. At the start of the year, there was talk of me going back on loan to Bolton. The manager at Arsenal said he wanted me to play 20-25 games and I’ve played 60 games this year.
“Hopefully I can get a bit more taste of international football next year and carry on performing for my club.”
