For many Premier League fans, the journey to cheer on their team is all part of the away match experience and Arsenal supporters are no exception. According to research * conducted by the club’s Official Car and Van Rental partner, Europcar, driving is the preferred way to travel to away matches for Arsenal fans, with the majority opting to take their own car. The club’s fans were also found to be the most likely of all the Premier League club supporters to use a rental car for match day travel.

Recognising the travel challenges for football fans, Europcar is offering 101 car parking spaces – at £1 a day each – for fans driving to the Watford FC match on 17th October 2015.

The supervised parking spaces are situated at Europcar’s headquarters in Bushey which is a five minute drive from exit 5 on the M1, and around a 30 minute walk from the stadium. Spaces must be booked in advance of arriving at the car park, and will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. Fans are, therefore, urged to secure their spot early on the ‘Your Arsenal, Your Way’ one stop content hub to avoid disappointment.

To get their hands on one of the £1 parking spaces for Saturday 17th October, all fans need to do is visit www.europcar.co.uk/yourarsenalyourway to make their booking. All the information about the parking spaces, including directions to and from the car park, will be provided when they make the booking.

Europcar is also offering more parking solutions to fans for the rest of the season, through its new partnership with JustPark, Europe’s leading provider of pre-bookable private off-street parking.

“Parking in city centres can be costly, as well as often hard to find”, said Ken McCall, Managing Director, Europcar UK Group. “With the Europcar and JustPark partnership, we believe attending away matches will be a less stressful experience for fans. It’s another way we are helping supporters with all their mobility needs.”
