It is being reported goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny may join Roma on loan.
The Polish international was dropped in the middle of last season for David Ospina and is now facing even more competition with the acquisition of Chelsea stopper Petr Cech earlier this summer.
It is thought Arsène Wenger favours Cech and Ospina over the Polish international, while also apparently favouring Damián Martínez.
It has been reported in Italian media that Serie A side Roma are offering €400,000 (£210,000) for him but are apparently erring over the Arsenal asking price.
Wojciech Szczesny has previously been told by his father and former Polish goalkeepers to leave Arsenal.
