Arsenal has been made favourites by SkyBet to sign up Edinson Cavani from PSG this month.

Despite the obvious need for a defensive midfielder, there’s no doubt that Wenger is more likely looking at attacking options, and there’s also little doubt about Cavani’s ability.

The 6’2″ Uruguayan is unhappy at PSG and is supposedly keen on a switch to England, with the capital his preferred destination.

In 149 league appearances for Napoli and PSG, Cavani has scored an impressive 101 goals.

Would you welcome him to the club, alongside Giroud & Welbeck and instead of signing a defensive midfielder?

Do not need him. Over rated and did you not already say Carvalho was done? Proper shit

If cavan joins arsenal then we can say that now we are on the title race this season and the seasons to come. But with welbeck, it is a dream

@Michael, mate, you clearly know fuck all about football. Cavani doesn’t score 3 goals a game every game. If our leaky defence is letting in two and three goals a game, we have to score 4 goals a game just to stay at the top. We need a top-class CDM to compliment Ramsey at CM and a faster, younger, better CB than Mertesacker. We need board members with a bit of spine who will stand up to Wenger and tell him he has to listen to his coaches. We need a new physio. We need to clear out the deadwood and the specialists who haven’t updated their methods since the 90s. We need a professional analyst to look at how we should change our game, and how to exploit other teams’ weaknesses. Then we need Steve Bould to step up and teach the lads how to defend properly, and attack set-pieces. Until then, Cavani won’t make a difference.

Arsenal need a DM and a strong FORWARD like cavani to be a tittle contender.
