It is no secret that Arsenal are in dire need of a new defensive midfield signing (or two), and the Gooners are closing in on just that.
Arsene Wenger is close to securing the signing of both highly-rated William Carvalho from Sporting Lisbon and St Etienne’s Loic Perrin.
Both midfielders have been linked with moves to The Emirates stadium, along with many over stadiums around Europe.
Wenger is a big admirer of both and it’s quite frankly about time that he made a move towards defensive midfielders.
Manchester United are also reportedly interested in both players also, but it should be a case of 1 each way as there is no immediate requirement for two defensive midfielders at Old Trafford.
Finally it seems that Wenger has caught up with the supporters, defensive midfielders incoming!
