Swansea City winger Wayne Routledge has stuck the boot into Alexis Sanchez by reminding the Chilean of his prediction in Arsenal’s defeat at The Liberty Stadium tonight.
The Gunners went down 2-1 as two goals in the last 15 minutes helped Swansea bookend a truly shocking week for us after Tuesday’s capitulation against Anderlecht.
On Saturday, Sanchez, who opened the scoring in Wales this evening, took to Twitter to claim that “three points are coming to London”.
But Routledge, absent today through injury, felt in triumphant mood following his teammates’ scalp and decided to indulge in a touch of devilment.
Going to sleep! Tomorrow those 3 points are coming to London!!! #GUNNERS pic.twitter.com/qmX2hnbhQw

Ermmmmmm… “@Alexis_Sanchez: Going to sleep! Tomorrow those 3 points are coming to London!!! #GUNNERS pic.twitter.com/2PvjMF9nuD”

The Gooner would urge Sanchez to remember this and get his own back when Routledge is playing for Rushden & Diamonds in two years.
