Arsenal midfielder Francis Coquelin has joined Charlton Athletic on a one-month loan deal.
The 23-year-old has struggled to earn first-team opportunities this season after returning from a year-long loan spell with Bundesliga outfit Freiburg.
Consequently, the France Under-21 international has joined the Championship club until December 1 and is eligible for selection in Tuesday’s clash with Leeds United.
Coquelin has made 43 appearances for us in total but has figured just once this season – the 2-1 League Cup defeat to Southampton in September.
