There is some good news for Arsenal fans on the horizon, Mesut Ozil is stepping up his rehabilitation from his hamstring injury that he picked up against Bayern Munich in the Champions League last month, to give Arsenal a big boost for then run into the end of the season.
Ozil is not expected to be fit for the FA Cup semi-final against Wigan on Saturday week, but should be available soon after that. The German midfielder underwent intensive physio sessions and has now stepped up gym work and is set to rejoin the training group soon.
Whilst midfielder Aaron Ramsey, out since Boxing Day with a thigh injury, is due to rejoin training on Thursday and has a chance of making the squad for the FA Cup semi final.
This news will be a welcome boost for the Gunners in a chase for a top-four finish and to secure the FA Cup which is much needed to end the long trophy drought.
