Arsenal look poised to sign German midfielder Julian Draxler before the transfer window closes according to reports in the Mirror.
With only a few hours left in the transfer window, Arsene Wenger looks set to add another big name player to the squad in our bid to win the Premier League.
It is being said that the Gunners will pay £30million for Draxler but it seems as if Schalke are playing hard ball and want £35million. But I see Arsenal winning this fight and getting their man.
It would have been great if Arsenal were able to bring in a big name striker this January as that is the position we really need strengthening but Wenger has opted to go with another midfielder player with the view of probably turning Draxler into another version of Robin Van Persie who too started off his Arsenal days not as an out and out striker.
But with the window still open, Wenger could surprise us all again like he did by bringing in Ozil on transfer deadline day.
