Arsene Wenger has welcomed the news that striker Olivier Giroud is fit again and we can expect to see him tonight against Aston Villa.
Giroud has missed Arsenal’s last two games following an ankle injury but now is back to help fire the team back to the top of the Premier League.
“People want always new names, but what is important for us is that Giroud is back,” said Wenger.
“He was a bit tired recently, but now he is refreshed and I’m sure he will have a major impact on the second part of the season.
“When you speak to the coaches after the game, they say ‘oh, what a client he is’.
“Giroud has qualities that the rest of the squad has not got, he always gives us that strength.
“We have small players who combine quickly, so to find someone who can hold it, keep the ball, make some room for other players, he does that very well and gives us a very good balance.”
With Theo Walcott being out injured for the rest of the season, the return of Giroud is a great boost to the side as we need all the attacking options we have if we are to defeat Aston Villa.
We are realy happy that giroud is back, we really proud of that but wenger remember that he cannot lead us for the rest of the season, advisebly new striker is needed b ut if you mean to win the trophy you cannot keep manage all seas on that is why you always end no thing at hand, we are liking who can score not like giroud who can contol the ball and give the ball t o someone who can score he is n ot astriker he is just an assister,
I hope Giroud will open his goals account again like last time we met Aston Villa. No “Giroudian night” please!
