As if the news of Theo Walcott’s injury is not bad enough, reports are suggesting that Abou Diaby will not feature for Arsenal this season again following the cruciate ligament injury he picked up in March 2013.

Reports state that Arsenal do not expect the Frenchman, who has suffered a series of setbacks in his recovery, to play again this season in what represents another savage blow to his injury-cursed career.

Will Diaby ever play again for Arsenal?

With all the setbacks the midfielder has had during his time at Arsenal, it could be easy for him to give up and throw the towel in but the 27-year old is expected to keep going. Credit too must be given to Arsenal for sticking by him for all these injury plagued seasons.

Such a waste of talent. Arsenal should let him go, why pay his wages when he is not contributing? Let him go and allow someone from the reserves to make strides into the first team.
