Nicklas Bendtner has been told to leave Arsenal in January by the Denmark manager Morten Olsen.

Olsen said: “Bendtner scored two great goals for us in the game against Italy, but there were also things he lacked in the match and this only comes through playing games.

“It is for this reason that he should find something new this winter, and so, we know that well.

“I think he will make the recommendation to himself and that is the main thing. Footballers want to play football.

“He has maybe 10 years left to go;= – he must use them well.”

If I were Bendtner I would take Olsen’s advice and leave Arsenal as soon as possible as he is simply not good enough for the Gunners.

It had been thought that Bendtner would leave Arsenal in the summer on a permanent move after spending the last two seasons on loan at Sunderland and Juventus, but we still find him at the Emirates. Bendtner has featured seven times for Arsenal this season and the fans have not been impressed when he has been called upon.

Oilivier Giroud is the first choice striker at Arsenal and he is doing a fine job but he needs support as he risks getting burnt out very soon if he keeps on playing like he is.

It is up to Wenger to go out into the market and bring in another quality striker if we are to maintain our title push and do well in the Champions League.
