Arsenal take on Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday night in the Champions League on the back of an impressive 2-0 win over Liverpool. The only down side to Arsenal victory was the calf injury that Kieran Gibbs picked up which has ruled him out of the trip to Dortmund.

That means Arsene Wenger is going to have to bring in Nacho Monreal at left back in place of Gibbs. This is most likely going to be the only change Wenger makes from the side that started against Liverpool on the weekend.

Monreal is going to have to play one of the games of his life as he is vital to providing the width in the Arsenal side as we are lacking width without natural wingers in the side. At the same time he will have to be at his best in defence because the likes of Marco Reus will be running at him throughout the entire game.

Arsenal’s defenders are going to have to be at the top of the game as Dortmund are at home and they attack much more than they did at the Emirates when they are in their own backyard.

This would be been a perfect game for Arsenal to have Flamini available. His presence would have provided great cover for our back four. We currently have Arteta filling in as the defensive midfielder and he has been doing a sterling job there but we miss his attacking prowess. Arteta will most likely be partnered by the in-form Aaron Ramsey in the middle of the park. My biggest fear is that I hope Ramsey is physically fit as he has played a lot of games of late.

Ozil, Cazorla and Rosicky will continue to provide the attacking options for the side as they look to support Giroud upfront. It will be critical for Arsenal to find a goal or two in this game as I am sure Dortmund will score a goal in this one. So it will be a matter of us outscoring them.

Who do you think should start against Dortmund?
