The Daily Star has come up with a great picture of Italian star Andrea Pirlo in an Arsenal shirt.

Now hopefully this could actually turn into a real image and not just an artists impression as Pirlo has not been offered a new deal at Juventus and thus may be looking for a new club.

The 34-year old midfielder has been linked with a move to Manchester United, Spurs and Chelsea in the past but Arsenal should surely be running for him too as he would add some much needed experience to our side and will fit in perfectly with our passing game.

We all know Wenger is not a fan of buying old players so the chances of him bringing in a 34-year-old are very slim but who knows: Wenger never spent big in the transfer market for one player, but he went ahead and splashed the cash on Ozil, so maybe he will start buying mature quality players too.

We have plenty of midfielders. Walcott, cazorla, wilshere, rambo, ozil, rosisky,ox,podolsk, arteta, flamini, and the forgotten diaby, all are world-class players. we don’t need him at all. Wenger could find a world-class striker as he did for ozil, then we can secure the title in march.
According to you, what Pirlo could come to fit at emirates? can he afford the pace of the young, energetic, hungry young gunners?

    Arsenal can win cap

  3. Ashraf says:

I don’t think Arsenal need another defensive midfielder. We already have Arteta, Wilshere and Flamini. As amazing as he is, Andrea Pirlo won’t be able to run and keep up with the pace of our team.

  4. barefoot traveler says:

Are you fools, BRING HIM. Pirlo would not simply be a world class player but also be a beacon of light for other world class players to come through to arsenal.

further more, he would be a great leader and mentor to the rest of the squad who are all still so young.

to say that we have a world class midfield is hugely mistaken, we dont. hardly a single player within AFC would be considered in the world 23 squad except Ozil, therefore we need him even just as a label.
in saying that, do understand i do believe we have a top-class team though, a team able to compete and beat almost any other team out there.

    So Pirlo YES!!!!!!!! please yes.
