I hate to be a downer here but we are told we have the best striker in europe… and best right back in the league, the best dm in the league, on of the best defenders in the league
Well… why are we so poor then if we have a spine of such great players? I mean ronaldo carried the entire united side to europe and english triumph, and if van persie is the best, he sure hasn’t caried us to such heights
Yes! He is the best striker but arsene is not ready 2 support him……he would have bought a winger that will support him………ohhhhh c’mon wenger spend ca$h and end the trophy drought.

Are we so poor? Since the transfer window ended and we made some signings our form has been up there with the best in the league. So I wouldn’t say we are poor.
And your argument is inherently flawed, because you can have some great players in your team but the season is long and how good of a squad you have plays a part.
So you can’t say a team with a few star players should win everything. Not only is that no guarantee to begin with but they need to be supported by a good bench, which hasn’t always been the case at Arsenal.
