What I would give for Thierry Henry to come back to Arsenal just for the rest of the season so he can take the goal scoring weight of Robin van Persie. Well Henry is back at Arsenal but unfortunately not as a player. Henry’s MLS side The eNew Your Red Bull’s were knocked out of the playoffs so Thierry is training with Arsenal so that he can keep up his fitness.
Manager Arsene Wenger said: “Thierry does not need to show how good he is – he just wants to stay fit, enjoy himself and come back to us. He is at home here so it’s always good to have him back.
“We kept in touch anyway, even in the States. He just turns up and practises.
“When it’s possible of course he can practise with the first team. He always [gives us] a lift and shows just what a big player he is. He doesn’t like to lose – that doesn’t change.”
