With the January transfer window being just around a corner, the transfer rumour mill is already starting to heat up and I am pretty sure that there are going to be one or two new faces coming in at Arsenal in January.
A new striker is top of our wanted list and we may also need another central defender following the injuries we have had with Wilshere. Today were are being linked with a mover for Manchester City’s out of favour midfielder Nigel de Jong.
The Dutch international has been plagued by injuries and will struggle to make the Manchester City midfield now as they now have a strong squad. Newspaper reports suggest he is unhappy at the way he has been treated at the Ethiad Stadium after being a regular feature during City’s successful season last year.
It is thought that a £20million would be enough to get City to sell the 26-year-old hard tackling midfielder with Real Madrid also reported to be interested in him. But would he be a good signing for Arsenal?
