Arsenal are already looking ahead to the January transfer window and according to The People, Arsene Wenger is set to raid Barcelona again and sign another of their top prospects.
Barcelona midfielder Thiago Alcantara is a top target for the Gunners and it was thought that he would come to Arsenal this past summer transfer window as part of the deal that took Cesc Fabregas to Barcelona. But that was not the case and now Wenger will try sign the 20-year-old in the January transfer window as he looks to continue to bolster our midfield.
Alcantara made his senior debut for Spain against Liechtenstein in midweek after turning his back on the country of his birth, Brazil. This just goes to show how talented the players is: playing for Spain is not easy these days as there are so many talented players right now.
If Arsenal are able to sign Alcantara, that would be a big signing as I can see him taking over from Fabregas and possibly going on to be an even better player than him.
