Nasri

Forget about Mancini – Nasri should play against Udinese

|

This transfer window has to be one of the craziest Arsenal have ever been through. First of all, Wenger played Nasri against Liverpool on Saturday despite him being linked with a move to Manchester City. I recall hearing a commentator before the match with Liverpool saying that Liverpool should put in a hard tackle on Nasri and that would keep him quiet for the rest of the game as he would be afraid to get injured before his move to City.

Now Roberto Mancini is suggesting that City will not go ahead and buy Nasri if he plays against Udinese this week in the Champions League. If Nasri plays, he will be cup-tied for the Champions League and therefore not be able to play for City in the competition if he signs for them.

“For 40 days I’ve hoped in two days, three days (it would be done), I don’t know why we haven’t closed it,” Mancini said.

“It’s a big problem (if he plays for Arsenal against Udinese) but I’m sure we can close in 24 hours, maybe 48. For Nasri it will be important he can play in all the Champions League matches.”

I hope Wenger does not take this as a threat coming from Mancini. If the deal is not done before Arsenal play Udinese then Wenger should play Nasri as he is still an Arsenal player and this is a must win game for us where we need all our top players on the field.

Arsenal match against udinese is compulsory(must win)for arsenal.since arsenal ave lost fabregas and wilshere injured i think wenger must include nasri to d squad who is going to face udinese since he is an arsenal player and still collecting his wages.mancini should 4get about nasri dis season.

  • Who cares about Mancini! Nasri still ours and we deserve to play him at any time.

  • Rayjnr says:

Mancini statement is not a threat cos Nasri is still an Arsenal player so can be called upon to play a match for this Club especially a match of this importance.

Nasri is leaving, no question. He has refused to sign another contract. If we play him against Udinese, his value plummets to maybe half. AW has put us in this position where we are desperate to have to rely on one player.

Personally he wouldnt even get in my team for Wednesday anyway.

    Szcesney
    Sagna Djourou/Koscielny Vermaelen Traore/Jenkinson;
    Song Frimpong
    Walcott Wilshire Gervinho
    Van Persie

Whether he makes the bench or not i dont know, but i would go for that extra steel in the midfield. A clean sheet is all that is required and lets be honest defending has not beemn our problem so far this season.

Personally, i think Nasri, Bendtner, Arshavin, Squillaci and obviously Almunia should all be kept from being cup-tied.

Arsene wenger should play nasri on wednesday against udinese cos is a must win match 4 arsenal if we want 2 play d group stage of CL. Nasri is still an arsenal player so Mancini shuld 4get about Nasri playing in d CL.

Whilst we pay Nasri’s wages he should be fucking playing for us no matter what Mancini bloody says. You want him sort it out otherwise shut the fuck up. Why are none of these comments ever investigated as tapping up?

We should tell them to piss off now, people will say we could lose Nasri for free, a loss of 20M next season. But if we don’t get in the CL then we lose 20M anyway!!

  • tobore says:

wether nasri or no nasri we’ll still win so 4uck macini and nasri

  • Gunners 4 all says:

Let Nasri stay 4 d rest of d season 4get about Macini but it is nut Macini fort, It’s our own steagind manager dat don’t want 2 spend money.

  • BatonRougeGooner says:
