Arsene Wenger came out today (Friday) and told us that he has no intentions of leaving Arsenal any time soon as there have been suggestions that the Frenchman may finally call its quits now at the Emirates after losing Fabregas and potentially Nasri and not being able to bring in more quality players.

Wenger said: “I will not walk away from the club.”

When asked about the pressure he is under, he said, “That’s part of the world at the moment and I don’t have a problem with it perfectly frankly because I can live with that. I try to focus on making the right decisions for the club.”

I know there are some fans for want Wenger to either leave by himself or be fired by the board. I can not see either of those happening any time soon. We may have had one of our worst summers at the club in a very long time with all the drama at our club but let us not forget that we are still a force to be considered with in the Premier League. We must not also forget all the success Wenger has bought to our club thus we must not chase him our like a stray dog.

Wenger still has a lot he wants to do and prove at Arsenal and thus he will not just walk away.

yeah, based on wenger’s track record, he never walk out of a club, he usually finish his contract then leave or he’s fired by the club. Anyways, i still believe Arsenal can win a trophy this season

  2. Amsalu says:

  6. isimkpi says:

Arsenal will win nothing as he continues with his lack of ambition in the transfer market

There is no way that Wenger will break his Contract, unless the people with whom he made the Contract,do not keep their side of the Bargain.By that i mean something akin to interfering with team selection(or trying to)or buying Players that Wenger has not chosen,a la Chelski,he is a Man of his word.

  8. Arsene Wenger says:

I won’t sign any player and I won’t leave there’s nothing anybody can do about it.We will finish 5th this season.

  9. Yusuf says:

I think Wenger should just leave.bcos his idealogies can not work and he is not ready to change them

many gunners have allowed media negativity towards Arsenal to play into their minds.Arsene knows the best and has always done well for the club given the financial constraint the club has had in recent years.Beforre the season started, some of you asked for the dead woods to be moved and that he’s done and also has brought in players i think will improve the squad and still willing to make the right purchase before the transfer window shuts. How much a player is bought for doesn’t matter, the quality and what he brings is what matters most.Let’s get behind the team if you are not a frustrated gunner.

Wenger should either buy experienced players or just quit; since he can;t quit, then let the board grow a pair and sack him.. Enough with the financial constraint excuses; the board said they gave him 60m in the beginning of the window; he went out and bought carl, gervinho and charmberlain for almost 20m, then got 29m, 7m and 3m for fab4, clichy and eboue respectively.. He has over 70m now; but his crazy ideologies threatens to bring disaster to our special club. He, himself said, no one is irreplaceable at AFC; and he made us proud a long time ago; but i think his days are numbered
