Arsenal got their pre-seaon off to a flying start after a convincing 4-0 win over the Malaysia XI. Aaron Ramsey scored a fifth minute penalty after Wilshere was taken out in the box to give Arsenal the lead. Ten minutes before the break Arsenal doubled their advantage with a goal from Walcott. Carlos Vela made it three after the break and Tomas Rosicky headed home the fourth.

I would rather prefer a competitive side that can wrestle at least 2 out of the strong 4 competition vying for in this season.not a younger side that would be weak before the second round and loose evrythn on the long run.
