It is time that Arsenal get one back on Manchester City. They firstly signed Clichy from us and now possibly Nasri and Vieira as a coach. But we may not have to wait too long for revenge as Skysports.com understands a number of clubs are monitoring Micah Richards’ contract situation at Manchester City and Arsenal is one of those clubs.
Manchester City have opened talks with Richards about a contract extension with the England international having two years to run on his present deal but it seems like the two parties are not agreeing on the terms and conditions of a new deal which may prompt City to cash in and sell the defender.
Now is Richards is up for sale, Wenger should run to Manchester and make this signing as it would be a great addition to the squad. I have not seen many players in the whole Premier League stronger than Richards. It is Wenger himself who said he needed bigger players in the Arsenal side and they do not come much bigger than Richards who can play as a central defender or at right-back.
i’ll be more than glad if i see micah richards in an arsenal shirt but will wenger spend on him?

I would just like to Wenger sign someone, Richards would be a good signing so would Samba, It looks like we are not going for Given or Parker. And holding out to try and get Cahill’s price down and wont pay the price for Baines!!At this rate we be going into the toughest start we have had to a new to a season with the same defence as we finished last season with minus Clichy. What the hell is going on !!

Mr Wenger’s attitude(i know everythng) is taking our beloved club down th alley.he won’t make any quality signings,hw can he talk of one or two additions.ths team needs an overhaul.at least four new faces wil do us good.but of course the dead wood must find new suitors now ,pack their bags and leave.come on AW,you don’t need to spend sleepless nights.just spend th damn money.cahill,samba ,parker and nw mica are all up for grabs .wake up professor.
the only experience we need is in defence and a gevinho infront, so i think richards plus another CB or LB could just do the we so desperately need.
Yes Please. We need defense bought before offense. One injury and our back 4 was in shambles last term. Richards and Cahill would be perfect additions if possible.
Richard play from right side of defence how do will fix that. Top quality, let down memory line and check the quality player AW sign it is Ashavin, Silverster, Squillaci or chamakh i never see any quality in this players that i mention, they never give us what will want.

I for one wouldn´t; I want AW to sign quality players that will improve the squad – preferably in the 20-24 year old bracket. I don´t want him to sign expensive players just because they´re expensive. We don´t need more experience if we keep the players we have. Cesc has buckets, he has played 8 years in the EPL, the last 6 regularly. RvP, Sagna, Song, Walcott, Nasri, Arshavin,… have all lots of EPL experience. Players around 28-29 are overpriced (read the book “Why England lose”).
At the same time, if AW identify we need e.g. a strong CB, it doesn´t matter if he costs 10m or 20m – IF that´s the missing link.
Whats happening to our beloved Arsenal? We only have under 40 days to premier league kick-off!
