Who will be on the plane to the Far East?

Arsenal’s pre-season tour gets underway on Sunday as the team is scheduled to fly out to the Far East. With all the transfer chaos going on at Arsenal right now, it is going to be interesting to see which Arsenal players will actually be on that plane to the Far East.

The first person in question is Cesc Fabregas and we are told that he will not be on the plane because he is still suffering from a hamstring injury and will remain in London for his rehab. Why do I not buy this story? Could it be that Fabregas wants to stay in London so he is able to complete his move to Barcelona?

It is being said that Nasri is going to be on the flight on Sunday as he will still be an Arsenal play by then. Although Manchester United and Manchester City are trying hard to sign Nasri, Wenger is hopeful that he will convince Nasri to stay and offer him a new £90,000-a-week contract. If no deal is done for Nasri before Sunday then you can be sure he will be forced to get on that plane.

Gervinho has his ticket for the trip on Sunday even though he is not an Arsenal player yet. But reports suggested that a deal will be sealed by Friday which will allow the new striker to go to the Far East with his team mates.

Bendtner and Denilson are back training with Arsenal after they both said they want to leave the club. It seems like both players will be packing their bags for the trip on Sunday as no serious offers have been made for the two.
