Paul Scholes should just keep quiet! Your playing career is over now so why are you taking a dig at Arsenal now? You know you could not have said these things about us whilst you were still playing or else you know you would have received a two footed lunge from one of our players when we played you next.

Scholes has come out and said the following with regards to Arsenal:

“Arsenal just flatter to deceive,” said Scholes. “They may play the prettiest football, but it doesn’t always produce the results they need.

“People talk about Arsenal as supposedly the best footballing team in England.

“That doesn’t irritate me, because while they’re doing that, we’re winning.

“They do play the best football to watch at times, but what’s the point of that if you’re not winning anything?

“Not only that, they’re potentially going to lose their best players, in Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri.

“It does go in cycles, but the way we’ve been set out at United for the last 15 to 20 years, I’d be surprised if we went six years without a trophy.

“You can’t say it won’t happen, because you only have to think of what Liverpool have been through, but I don’t think our manager will allow that to happen to us.”

We may not be winning much right now but we are certainly going to with the crop of young players we have. Look at Manchester United, they are having to go out and splash millions on new players this summer, why can’t they produce their own crop of young stars? The Manchester United generation that Scholes came through was a result of a good youth policy the club had at that time. What has happened to that policy now at Old Trafford?

What Paul Scholes does not see is that he was successful because of a sound youth team and now we are building one now, we may not win now but we are going to win soon and Manchester United are going to go trophyless for a very long time!

Like another mouth before him (Neville) Tackler Scholes has found his just at the right time. I suspect that an autobiography is in the offing
(written by someone else because Scholes can’t write and chew gum at the same time).

@Nicky : This is wholly unfair. We all know that Scholes is an intellectual dwarf, who has suffered with verbal defficiency all his life, but there is no need to rub it in.

I am a die hard arsenal fan. I regret reading this blog though. What is love 4 ur team rily? Is it enjoying d fact dat dey hav suddenly slumped from a team everyone reveres to a mediocre team everyon believes they can beat OR criticising d team constructively so it can achieve gr8er success?
Scholes is one of d best players I’v seen. Wat he said is wat majority of arsenal fans feel.wat is d point?
