The Mirror is reporting that Samir Nasri is going to return to Arsenal from holiday on Monday and tell Arsene Wenger that he quits!
If this is what is set to happen then it will be a huge move by Nasri and Wenger is most likely going to have no choice but to sell him with Manchester United and Manchester City both wanting the French midfielder.
No one is bigger than the club and if a player wants to leave then he should go. But then on the other hand, Wayne Rooney did the same thing to Manchester United as he threatened to quit but Alex Ferguson was able to talk him into staying. Should Wenger do the same to Nasri?
Nasri is clearly not happy about something at Arsenal, be it the lack of new player signings or he is not happy with how much he is getting paid. Both of those are issues that can be addressed and corrected if Wenger really wants Nasri to stay.
Arsenal are going to make new signings this summer, that goes without saying. We will be seeing Gervinho arriving at Arsenal soon and it is reported that the Ivory Coast striker is close pals with Nasri. The likes of Samba, Cahill, Mata and Alvarez could also be arriving soon.
I am sure this coming week will be a big one for Arsenal as we will hopefully know what is going to happen to Nasri and Fabregas.
