How can Barcelona afford Fabregas if they can not afford colour ink?

This Fabregas transfer saga is getting to me now! Can it all please come to an end so we can focus on other matters. Every day there seems to be a new story. The funny one I read today was that Barcelona are so broke that they have had to stop making colour copies in the back-office and now resort to the cheaper black and white copies. Finances are really tight at Barcelona now and why they are planning to get the cash to buy Fabregas remains a mystery to me. If you can not afford to buy colour ink then how can you afford Fabregas for £35million?

One thing that is clear now is that if Barcelona some how manage to raise the cash for Fabregas that meets Arsenal’s valuation then they can buy him. Barcelona bid £27million for Fabregas last week but that was quickly rejected.

A senior Arsenal official told the BBC: “The offer was made formally in writing to our chief executive, and we said no straight away.”

When asked if the club expected an improved offer this week, the source added: “Possibly, yes, and if it’s enough then I expect we’ll have to sell.”

One thing I do not get about Barcelona and their finances is that they can easily raise a lot of money by selling some of their players who are not regulars in the first team such as Bojan, Keita or even Mascherano. If they really want Fabregas then they can make a plan. Instead of cutting back on their ink bill they can find other ways to generate more cash.
