Signing a central defender and a striker are the main priorities for Arsenal right now but we can not forget about strengthening the other positions too.

Arsenal are reportedly back in the hunt for 23 year old Argentine midfielder Ricardo Alvarez after last month’s negotiations broke down. Arsenal’s Brazil-based scout Sandro Orlandelli first alerted Arsenal about Alvarez three years and and has since been following his progress.

Now Wenger is keen to add the left footed player to our squad but Arsenal executive Richard Law had talks with Velez Sarsfield president Fernando Raffaini in Argentina but was unwilling to pay the £11million the South American side wanted.

Many of you may not know much about Alvarez so here is a video courtesy of Flort13.
