Are Barcelona crazy? Barcelona president Sandro Rosell has said that his club are not going to succumb to the crazy prices being mentioned in the market in their bid to sign Cesc Fabregas from Arsenal.

“He (Cesc) is doing everything he can to come (here),” Rosell told Catalan station TV3 on Monday night.

“Guardiola knows the values of players and Cesc’s is less than €40million. Barcelona will offer less and if they (Arsenal) don’t accept, then he won’t come. Pep knows the club is not well-off in terms of money.”

Firstly, what is Cesc doing to try and go to Barcelona? It is not like he is telling the whole world via Twitter that he wants a move to Barcelona. Cesc has been very quiet about this move. Deep down he may want the move but he has not come out and said it publicly.

Secondly, there is no way Fabregas is only worth £35million! If Torres is worth £50million and Andy Carroll is worth £35million, there is no way you can tell me Fabregas is worth the same as Carroll!
