It is said by some reports that Arsene Wenger has been given a transfer budget of £60million this summer.
In Wenger terms that is a lot of money as he normally buys young cheap players that no one has ever heard of but is it time now for him to be big and splash out on some big name signings?
Gervinho is already one big name that may be headed to Arsenal soon for a big fee (in Wenger terms) and Blackburn’s Chris Samba may also follow soon.
What we would like to ask you today, what would you like to see Wenger do with the money? Who should he buy or in what positions should he focus on?

If we do indeed have 60mil, then we should go with this:-
1) Gervinho (seems like deal is almost done) – $12mil
2) Samba – $12mil
3) Cahill – $15mil + loan deal for our young spaniard defender (don’t even mind throwing in Denilson since no one wants him anyway)
4) Matuidi / Parker – $13mil max
Total outlay: $52mil
If Clichy does leave, we should then use the proceed to get Enrique from Newcastle.
Then if we are lucky and get to sell Bendtner, Almunia, Denilson and Squillaci, we’ll be able to get around 20 mil or maybe 15mil if we sell Bendtner and Denilson, then with the proceed + the balance of the 60 mil, go get either Benzema or Hazard and we will be sweet!
