There was a lot of speculation last week regarding the potential transfer of Jermain Defoe from Tottenham to Arsenal. Many Arsenal fans did not welcome this move as they could not accept a Spurs player joining us. I can feel exactly where they are coming from. I myself would not be happy with Defoe wearing our famous red shirt. Just the thought of us chanting his name when he scores would have been too painful.
But thankfully the thought or possibility of Defoe joining Arsenal is not going to happen, well atleast according to Harry Redknapp. The Spurs boss has said he can not see such a deal happening. Harry said, ‘I didn’t see that. I couldn’t see that one happening.’
