Arsenal seem to be linked with almost every player you can think of these days. The latest shock link to Arsenal is Newcastle midfielder Joey Barton this according to The People.
Firstly it was Scott Parker being linked with Arsenal in a bid that he would add some much needed experience to the Arsenal side but now Joey Barton seems to be the latest link to add the same required experience to the side.
Barton once once known as the ‘Bad Boy’ of English football as he always seemed to get himself into trouble on and off the field but now he has ‘cleaned’ himself up and focusing on his football and it has improved his game a great deal.
The nice thing about potentially signing Barton is that he will not cost a lot of money. £1.5million would be enough to get him from Newcastle as he only has one year left on his current deal.
