Arsenal will be in the market for a new number one goalkeeper this summer. Not having a realiable goalkeeper cost us dearly last season, you just have to look back at the Carling Cup final to see what I am talking about.
Arsenal have been linked with the likes of Reina and Buffon but neither of them will be joining Arsenal and the market for new goalkeepers is very thin right now with very few top class keepers available.
Arsene Wenger may be forced to go to Sunderland and try sign their Scottish international goalkeepr, Craig Gordon. Gordon is rated as one of the best keepers in the league but he has been dogged by injuries. A fully fit Gordon would be a great asset to any team and he is the kind of goalkeeper that Arsenal should be eyeing considering we can not get anyone else.
